In the JUPITER-80’s sound engine, the smallest unit of sound is the “tone”; each tone consists of a SuperNATURAL Acoustic or Synth sound (tone). Up to four tones can be layered to create an Upper or Lower Live Set. Such a combination can be saved as a “Live Set,” and a different Live Set can be used for the Upper Part and the Lower Part. In a Registration, you can organize the Live Sets for performance. In the JP-80′s Single Live Set mode, you can play either an Upper or Lower Live Set.
